What we carry…and what you told us…

Last week we asked our WhatsApp community: what's quietly taking it out of you at work lately?

You could pick as many as you needed. And you did.

The top answer? Running on empty but still showing up, chosen by more than a quarter of respondents. Not calling in sick. Not flagging it. Just getting through the day on not enough.

Underneath it, the rest of the list tells the same story in different words. Broken sleep. Menopause. Stress that's become background noise. Brain fog with no obvious cause. The invisible weight of caring for someone at home.
Different causes. Same feeling.

These are the things that sit outside most workplace wellbeing conversations and exactly the things we think need to be in them.
