💬 Struggling with mental health can be so difficult and having a supportive ear can be so important.

That's why non-judgemental listening is an invaluable skill - it allows someone to open up without fear of judgement or stigma.

Non-judgemental listening means listening with the intent to understand, not to respond. It involves paying attention to what is being said and taking in the person's story from their perspective. This encourages them to open up more and feel safe in expressing their thoughts and feelings.

By actively listening without judgement, you show that you care as well as demonstrate respect for the other person. This helps create a safe space for exploring issues and finding ways to cope and manage problems.

So if someone you know is struggling with their mental health, remember that listening with an open mind can help them more than you think. Show that you care and create a safe space for them to share - because everyone deserves to feel heard. 🤗
