We're on the right track! Initiatives like hosting events, casual coffee or tea chats, and delivering presentations are just the beginning.
It's time to broaden our understanding of what it means to be a Mental Health First Aider. This role encompasses more than just immediate actions; it's also about championing mental health awareness and promotion. Gone are the days when Mental Health First Aid was seen primarily as a crisis response role. Our approach has evolved significantly, with a strong emphasis on prevention and early intervention.
This shift in perspective highlights the importance of the Mental Health First Aider not just as a responder but as a proactive advocate for mental health in our workplace and communities.
