Hi everyone. I'm Wendy and I work as a Strategic Engagement Lead in Healthcare Improvement Scotland. As part of my role in HIS I am also a Confidential Contact, which can be similar to the role and remit of a MHFA but also having an understanding of our org policies and procedures to signpost colleagues appropriately. In a voluntary capacity, I continue to challenge stigma and discrimination in relation to mental ill health in my role as a community champion with See Me. I'm always keen to find out new ways of working to support others, share learning and support one another ♥
