📊 New research from the CIPD is sounding the alarm on workplace wellbeing.

According to their latest findings, a quarter of UK employees say their job has a negative impact on both their mental and physical health. That’s not just a worrying statistic - it’s a clear sign that something needs to change in how we design, manage and support our workplaces.

At MHScot, we talk a lot about the social causes of distress at work - things like workload, poor leadership, lack of autonomy and isolation. This research backs up what many of us are already seeing in organisations every day.

It’s time to move beyond surface-level wellbeing initiatives and start addressing the real, structural factors that affect people’s health at work.

📖 Well worth a read from People Management.
